Houston Metro Bus and Light Rail Crash Injuring 19

A Houston Metro Bus collided with a Houston Light Rail train at Main Street and St. Joseph Parkway. This is the second vehicle collision with a train within six weeks at the same location. The bus was westbound on St. Joseph when the wreck with the northbound train happened. Houston police and Metro officials are investigating the crash. The investigation will include a review of video tapes, light sequences and the general layout of the collision.The bus driver, train operator and 17 passengers were injured.
